Chairperson

Mr. Gediminas Sakalauskas

 

Appointment to the COEC and functions:

  • On 29 June 2021 was appointed a Member of the COEC by the Seimas of the Lithuanian Republic (proposed by the Prime Minister).
  • On 8 December 2022 was appointed the Chairperson of the COEC by the Seimas of the Lithuanian Republic. The Chairperson is the head of the of COEC (budgetary authority) and excercises powers set forth in Article 13 of the Republic of Lithuania Law on Adjustment of Public and Private Interests.

Ms. Virginija Aleksejūnė

 

Appointment to the COEC and functions:

  • On 17 November 2022 was appointed a Member of the COEC by the Seimas of the Lithuanian Republic proposed by the Prime Minister;
  • On 3 January was appointed the Deputy Chairperson by the COEC.

Ms. Evelina Matulaitienė

 

Appointment to the COEC and functions:

  • On 20 November 2019 was appointed a Member of the COEC by the Seimas of the Lithuanian Republic (proposed by the President of the Republic of Lithuania).
  • Since 22 January 2020, by a collegial decision of the COEC, supervises these particular spheres of activities of the COEC: prevention of illegal lobbying activities, prevention of possible violations of adjustment of public and private interests, the creation of Register of Declarations of Private Interests.

Appointment to the COEC and functions:

  • On 10 November was appointed a Member of the COEC by the Seimas of the Lithuanian Republic (proposed by the the Lithuanian Lawyers’ Association)

Mr. Martinas Žaltauskas

 

Appointment to the COEC and functions:

  • On 5 December 2019 was appointed a Member of the COEC by the Seimas of the Lithuanian Republic (proposed by the National Council of Non-Governmental Organisations);
  • Since 22 January, by a collegial decision of the COEC, supervises these particular spheres of activities of the COEC: organising and providing education on adjustment of public and private interests and establishment of a compliance officers’ network.
